The Audi reminds me of the dialynx Swb sport Quattro conversions

That Chevette is something else, not seen one (of that model) in years, hopefully it'll get taken on by someone who can put it back to how it should be.

Even worse that Golf - in the pictures you can see a second one that's been ruined in the street behind it...

[E30.jpg]

I can't help but ask myself what could possibly go wrong?

Rusty floorpan at the front by the mudflaps

Rusty inner rear arches

Rusty sills

Rusty scuttle

Shagged drivers seat

Toblerone shaped camshaft due to lack of servicing

It's a 318i auto so will be roadblock slow while delivering less than 20 OPGMPG and sounding like the ultimate sewing machine

Still would though.

Continuing the buy British Leyland trend, this Allegro looks mint, I have no idea if £1,295 is good or bad for one of these  :?  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUSTIN-ALLEGRO-L-/261370685490?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3cdae82832

One or two dents in the front, and it's got earlier hubcaps that don't look right - it should have full wheel plastic trims. And post-2001 plates.

I'd say £1300 was a little too much for that personally.

i know all that and it's still taken my want-o-meter into the high 90's

Yeah! On swaps.

Rather iffy there's a selection of swaps motors in tabs, plus a Daewoo on eBay and something on copart.

This is jolly lovely, but the lack of MOT and the sea-faring vessels in the background of the photos do not bode well for it and I know from first hand experience just how much rust even a superficially good Lancia can hide.

Even so, my bidding finger is twitching like a bastard.

that lancia advert mentions restoration so many times it makes me think it'll be as rusty as a mini kept down a salt mine.

From careful* study of the photos, the rear arches look like they have a half tonne of wob about to fall out and there is a bot of rot around the gutter in the engine bay as stated but it otherwise looks alright. Of course my Y10 was seemingly a bit rusty around the arches but otherwise ok and now 2 year later I am just a sill and a rear arch away from finishing the welding it needed.

I still want that Monte-Carlo.

Now this looks like it could be unbarried quite easily and turned into something nice before it is utterly ruined - £495 or make an offer.
