I have to admit that both are interesting and will be gone quickly. If it was me I'd go for the bulletproof supercharged AMG though. With a needy V10 S8 in my possession already one more expensive German mid-2000s performance saloon/estate might be one too many though!

Spotted this on a recent trip to Huddersfield in my own berlingo 

£550. Mot until June. Looked honest enough. 

 

Sadly didn't realise how shaky my hands were but have a local friend if anyone wants me to find out the number...

2002 MG ZT 190. 11 months MOT Running Project. Bargain

Faults that I am aware of. 

Thermostat housing/pipework appears to have failed with a coolant leak at the top of the engine, making the car undriveable for any distance. Fortunately this happened only a mile or so away from being parked up, so no significant damage done.
Inlet manifold has a rattle.
Dipstick tube and dipstick needs replacing.
Roof lining has sagged.
Interior is generally clean and presentable with the expected age related issues these cars have, sagging door card, wear on driver seat.
Boot lock works but can be a bit fiddly.
Lacquer peeling on the bonnet and roof. Various other marks around the car but as you can see, cleans up presentably.
Stereo does not power up.
Rear door hinges a bit sticky.

That Astra looks fab (for an mk3 Astra, obvs). Good history on the mot side - a few fails no big deal. Anyone tried to get a mountain bike into one by any chance lol?

I had one of these in exactly this colour in the early 00s. Absolute hoot to drive. Interior felt like it was about to disintegrate every time you touched it.
