that sold a few weeks ago on the Talbot FB forum for £2995  so looks like someone's trying to flip a quick profit

Aaah, well that's dampened my enthusiasm somewhat. Never mind, still cool as dick though.

Likely scam, the image appears to have been pinched from a Craigslist advert in California.

It's like Gumtree, but with added prostitutes.

Was, sadly.

I remember now, the internetz police decided to outlaw it so all the prostitutes now advertise elsewhere and are harder for law enforcement to keep track of. Dazzling piece of pointless pearlclutching that has no doubt resulted in more sex workers being assaulted or killed.

It was US Regulation, IIRC. Other sites still exist...

Quite; my point being when the majority of them were on craigslist law enforcement could get information on advertisers and respondents quite easily. Now they're scattered across the internet using sites operated from outside the US, so obtaining that information is either much slower or just not feasible. It's put the sex workers at greater risk of harm and not reduced the amount of prostitution at all, but it allowed some moronic politicians to claim they're fighting immorality or some bollocks.
