id pay the ulez gladly but I’m not buying it solely because some prick has stuck that monstrosity on the bonnet. I know it’ll likely come off easy and if not I’d gloss black it anyway but no it’s been tainted. Tainted I say.

3-speed box.

Exceptionnel = 'very low'.

Montagne -Ville = '2/3rd' hilly and town use.

Route = '4th' on the open road

AR = arrete (reverse).

Never seen that on a French car before how interesting.

^ a bit like town and country horn on a Bentley, or maybe 2CV Ville/route light settings....

You are right - I think that explains it - it's one of those automatic clutch  gearchange boxes.

I think it was manufactured by Ferodo (France).
