You just don't see lino boot floors very often these days.  

 

You'd have to pay me to drive another one of those. The Mk5/6 Escort must be the most uninspiring and dullest cars to have to own and drive. They are just so boring and lacking in any feeling. You'd have thought after the Mk4 Ford would have upped their game, but no, they stuck to the accounts way of cheap is best. Horrible, horrible cars.

That is SO tempting.

Get a facelift that still has the 5G-tronic, more modern looks without being much more expensive or trouble prone with the later 7-speed. Was only available for a few months in that combo though.

Couldn't agree more, they even smelt hateful inside. True throw away motoring at its worst.

Rough as toast, but surely these are going to rocket in value sooner rather than later.

 

I thought that at one point too but this era of sports bikes remain unloved. Even a spot on a massive film still hasn't made them desirable. See the man whose held onto a '90 ZXR750 H2 for years in the belief it represents a pension😄

It's down a 1.6 Vauxhall, so probably a Mk2 Cavalier.
