eBay tat volume 3.

The engine looks 100% Miss Lette compatible.

I'm not sure y'know.  In my experience Mobylette engines tend to have the engine mount as part of the cylinder head, and the cylinder itself is more vertical.  That looks more like a Pug 103 engine if anything.

These 2-dr Granadas are supa rare, I wonder how many they made cos I don't ever remember seeing any back in the day even in car mags and that.

I thought this car looked familiar and found this photograph of one I spotted back in 2010.  Thing is, the one I spotted definitely has a removable roof of some sort.  I can't remember where I was when I saw it but a bright red Cortina with a black roof and five spoke alloys is the sort of thing that sticks in your mind.

The one in your photo is a Mk3 Cortina Crayford Convertible VL. The one one ebay is a Mk1 Granada but in an unusual 2dr style which i think is probably a German 'Consul' with Granada badges. I 'think' the only Mk 1 2dr Granada was the coupe.

They're both pretty unusual things, Initially I thought they were the same one but you're quite correct on the ID stuff.  It just struck me how similar and how rare the two completely different things were.

All old Fords look the same to me... apparently.

Despite a feebly stunted annual mileage which offers no sensible justification for it, I am EROTICALLY FIXATED on getting one of these and running it on straight veg oil. This £975 example seems substantially less frilly than most.

1984 FORD FIESTA L MK2 BLUE STORED IN GARAGE FOR LAST 10 YEARS £199 BUY IT NOW

Update: I would have been happy to get £199 for the car hence the price in the listing title but as I have had so much interest in it (and people had placed bids on it) I have decided to just let the auction run till the end as this appears to be the fairest way to proceed & keep me within eBay rules, so bid the max that you want to pay for it and we'll see who gets it.

This car was bought back in 1986 in full working order. Since then it has been parked in a garage and never used.

The body work is in relatively good order considering its age. This car is very collectible and would be ideal for anyone wanting a project to work on. As the car has not been started up or used in over 27 years, we are open to reasonable offers. At the moment one or two of the wheels have deflated, hence the photos of the car are from inside the garage. Viewing recommended.

AIEEEEEE! By fuck these wide-mouthed frogs are hideous - copper-bosomed future shite. Pull of depreciation not yet hitting maximum g-force but five grand for a four-year-old low-miles diesel seems cheap enough.
