If only we knew someone who has a track record for a similar (but much nicer) Vauxhall in Wales.

1972 makes that a very early example, as that was the changeover year from the FD.  It was also the debut of the 2300 engine.  Worth preserving just on those two counts?  Very probably, but WTF is happening with that interior?

That 2dr Mk5 is a base no opening rear windows.

MK4/5 L 2dr's have opening rears.

The previous owner has done such a bodged job, the fake vinyl roof is particularly shite.

I hate the seats:

Here it is a few years back, shame how it turned out over time:

Still baffles the knackers off me why anybody would convert a luton into a camper and not have any windows.

That, surely, is the only 'pole' that's ever getting erected in that travelling bucket of wank.

1991 proton aeroback 1.3
25k from new. Checkable with some history
On vesta 3 spoke alloys (original steels in the boot tyreless)
This is something I was planning to do something with. (Possibly banger to benidorm) but due to unforeseen circumstances. That's no longer the case. The car itself is solid as these were galvanised bodies. Unfortunately. Depending on your taste. The previous owner painted it with a roller to mimic the initial D car. Each to there own. And tbh I quite like it lol
It failed its MOT. it needs new rear springs (been cut to lower it) and one front coil over spring for its mot.
About as rare as hens teeth today.
Oozes 90s styling and is a worthy project for someone.
£600 ono
Keighley

Indeed. Might explain any strange stains on the seats...

Oooof. This is a little fire cracker.

Olney is absolutely the place to buy a car from. Make sure you offer to take your shoes off as you do the v5.

correctly engined. £250, MOT until April. Would be a fun roffle. But roffles involve unnecessary travel...

Also on eBay, £150 start, ending in an hour.  Seller's feedback is a little variable, but at this price point it doesn't really matter.

This looks cheap for an Astra J

Owner has just sneezed in it and family won't get in!

I agree that does not look like a 17,000 mile car. It is very nice though.

That Royale has been knocking around a while. It looks a bit moody to me with Senator bumpers and rear panel.   Crap listing too and the pics don’t show what you need to see.

I’d really like a Royale but for that one I wouldn’t pay more than half what they’re asking, if that.
