I owned that. It was a woeful pile of toss but I kinda miss it. Replaced it indirectly with Pete's Senator, a far better silver J-reg saloon with a spoiler. As an aside that Proton remains the only car I sold to a Muhammed Ali.

I was using this car daily for commuting. Overall great car, cheap to run, especially on motorway, when you can use 6th gear.
However I started having problems with sunroof - it started to leak. As I read its common problem with Lagunas.
After one heavy rain I couldn't start it, so had to tow it to my house. I think its an electrical problem, it does not start at all now.
Immobilizer lamp is not blinking when you use key-card, so its not a problem with immobilizer.
