Saying it's the only BX van in Ireland might be pushing it a bit, but it's still ace.

I was just looking at this Puma 1.7 ebay ad. It looks a good very early one with good history, and genuine low miles.

DVLA MOT history says -

"22 April 2016

FAIL

Mileage 14,801 miles

Reason(s) for failure

Nearside Rear Subframe mounting prescribed area is excessively corroded (2.4.A.3)

Offside Rear Subframe mounting prescribed area is excessively corroded (2.4.A.3)".

FFS, at under 15k miles from new too.

'That's genuine retro Capri Mk1-era type rustproofing there m8. It's a classic'.

I still like it, wonder how much it'll go for.

Please tell me that NOT all the surviving CFs are campers, and facelifted at that.  I'm considerably more enamoured of the pale blue Zephyr somewhere above.  In fact I'm trying to justify raiding one of the credit cards to fund it..

Fucking hell!  Zephyr sold for £2050.  That's positively upsetting.

That Puma. 20 000 miles on the clock and it still failed on an MOT on excessive rust in 2016! Still a very nice looking thing though. I suspect it just wants some light recommissioning.

It 'sold' a few weeks back for about £3500 I think, I was going to bid (not £3500!) but the rust put me off. Looks like they didn't pay as I think it's the same seller.

Some real gems coming up, starting with this rough looking n/a automatic 300ZX. A manual twinturbo one of these is high on my bucket list, but with prices rising along with all the other JDM halo cars of the 90s, its becoming less and less likely.

Just look at these pod mounted controls, this one even has displays in it!

The Peugeot price madness continues on, this time on 605s.

Interesting spec though, the only manual 12v V6 605 Peugeot offered was called the Z6; if this is a UK car which it looks to be with that plate, my hunch is someone has just stuck an SR badge on it.  They had rear spoilers too.

I've always liked z32s too, despite their more recent council estate driveway ornament and drifto status. I think they're overshadowed by skylines and supras.

It always perplexed me that nissan went to the trouble of developing a 3.0 V6 twin turbo, a 2.5 straight six Turbo and a 2.6 straight six twin turbo to do (on the face of it) the same job.

I don’t think you could loose on that XKR given it has a saleable reg number. Would probably chance my arm if I had the money.

Have £24,995 to spare?

Fancy a 4-door Mk2 Escort?

Step this way Sir and take your £25k with you.

Seller claims it's "1 of only 200 of this model ever made as it has the MK1 Mexico engine fitted from factory".

It's the standard issue 4-door 1.6L, Ford made thousands of them between the summer of 1978 and 1980. A popular car with George and Doris Giffer. Apparently this one is rare because 1978, round headlamps, black interior, and plain wheels.

It comes back as a " 605 SR" on Vehicle Smart.

Of course there's a good chance a solid white non- sunroof 3.0 manual with a Ryton number could have been brought over as a replacement for this earlier Police demo.post-17414-0-48897000-1553164678_thumb.jpeg

Incidentally I'm sure the 3.0 12v manual we had as a fleet demo in 91/2 was badges as an SVE.

Metallic brown XJ-S in Wobbler country.  OK it's comprehensively fucked, but as I type this it's on 102 quid with about 5 hours to go.  Worth it just for spares, surely - Skizzer, any room at the inn barn?

I test drove a twin turbo Z32 (albeit an automatic JDM import) back in 2011.  Having previously owned a non-turbo version, I was expecting great things, but I must have over-hyped it in my head because I actually found the performance rather underwhelming.
