Bought from Brightwells JLR Collection auction for £2200. Overbrook tried to flip it shortly after for - get this - ELEVEN GRAND!!! Needless to say, they're stuck with it as everyone knows where they got the thing from, and how much they paid.

 

Offer them two grand in cash.

Think his reserve is nearer three to four grand. No chance.

 

I used to run mine on those Style 31 alloys in winter. Not a bad wheel.

These run the Hillman Imp engine. Therefore can be tuned to good effect.

But are more than terrifying enough in standard form anyway.

It probably was me, yes.  I had one in 2013 and even brought it to Chumley.  I'm not going to say  it was shit, but I certainly didn't get on with it.  Fuel consumption was horrendous, even by my standards, and it didn't have the gobs of power one might expect to account for it.  Also, I just couldn't get comfy in it.  I ended up trading it in for the Tacuma that I've just sold.
