Late minis rust worst of all, the mpis being the shitest of the lot. I have an mpg shell with so little scuttle it’s unreal, it was taken off the road at 9 years old, never seen a 60s or 70s one that bad even when they sit in a field for ten years. The reason for it depends on who you ask but could be quality of metal, paint or a new tool they used for installing seals.
