'COMMISSIONED FOR LORD KAGAN CEO OF GANEX RAIN COATS'

I bet if the Queen knew about those chrome arches she'd have took his fucking head off with the sword when she knighted him.

Kagan was charged with tax evasion, though the formal charges were styled as "theft" (of barrels of Indigo dye) from his, by then, former company and "false accounting", to comply with extradition treaties which did not cover tax offences. After a stay in Israel, he was arrested in Paris and extradited to Britain. On 12 December 1980, he was convicted of four counts of theft. He was fined £375,000 and served a ten-month sentence, first in Armley Prison, then in Rudgate, Yorkshire. He lost his knighthood, but his peerage could not be forfeited

Only thing that Rialto is fit for is a spare engine for Mr Wobbler or Bub's Reliant powered vehicles. Don't you get the feeling that when the seller saw what they had done, they realised what a fucking brainless idea they had, and the have utterly ruined a perfectly usable vehicle, then quickly bung their monn-fucking-strocity on egay?

A genuine Toyota - Not a Ferrari based replica.

I fear these will all vanish to be chopped up for 355 replicas.  I cannot remember the last one Ive seen moving.

Lots of overspray everywhere on that, had a cheap blow over to punt on. One to run very fast away from I feel

Gran Torino.  With slots.  Apparently one of the original Starsky and Hutch cars.  Has a big V8! - on eBay

I quite like this.  Just over £1000 and finishing tomorrow.

Wrong earlier front end on, not a S&H car, yet another fake with a wanker paint job, fuel filler in wrong place for an S&H car, should be in the  panel just under the boot lock behind a hinged flap, pre facelift cars had it in the bumper behind the licence plate,  small block 351 Windsor with naff all power, spec build is for steel wheels with trim rings, so much bullshit bingo going on with this ad it is unreal, it was just a plain red base 2 door Torino with a few options. I suspect this is an identical car to this ebay phoney

These are both 1972 cars that actually preceded the TV show, so are far from genuine, the show car was a 1974 example, with the limp of wrist 351 that was seriously choked for regulations, and Hutch's battered pile of crap was actually faster as that had the monster V8 in. These fuckers are like 'Del Boy' Reliants, and boil my piss

I likedthe wheels.. it looks like it was painted as it drove past a paint shop  and paint was splattered everywhere.  Certainly looks like its not had an easy life.

Something doesnt look right about that door bottom either, these do like to rust for giggles in our climate

Nice rant, sadly not correct.

A whole plethora of 1974 to 1976 Torinos with varying trim levels were used for filming, often even inconsistently within the same episode.

They also became increasingly battered and botch repaired, since Glaser hated them so much that he deliberately drove them into street furniture etc. There is an entire website out there documenting this. The exact count is unknown, but estimates have been deducted from spotting. The car in the ad could theoretically be authentic, but the only cogent proof would be paper evidence. What is certainly not authentic is the 390 engine. Most cars used for filming had bog standard engines with full emission control, since they had to be driven on public roads and contemporary Californian law forbade modifications to the engines of new cars. Only the differential ratios of some of the cars were changed to enable them to spin the rear tyres. The high performance sound was dubbed in.

A very small number was modified for stunt driving, but those could never leave the studio grounds.

The phonecam lens crap on that shonky MR2 sales effort makes me think I've fallen into a Cagney & Lacey, Vaseline on the lens nonsense episode.  Not that Moonlighting was any better.

On the 'Starsky' Ford, well so what, it was bound to happen and I'm glad it's still there on reprieve, rather than HiAb-bed off the track after two laps of Belle Vue.  I recognise the fella selling it anyhow, I bought my 101 Estate off him.  He does like to blow over any old shite that comes his way to pay his pension and health plan (wasn't in the best of health ten years back, etc)

GIB!  Currently at less than a VP Allegro.

Look at the sodding overhang on that

It's a 3.5 tonner, too, so the moment VOSA see you with anything more than an engineless FIAT 126 on the back, you're going to end up with more arseholes than your average fox hunt.

I seriously can't believe this beavertail truck. The centre of the ramp is behind the back axle line!! Any weight on it at all is going to start lifting the friggin front off the ground!!!! Unbelivable.

That number plate needs transferring to SiC's MG IMMEDIATELY.

The points I was evidently unsuccessfully trying to convey onto an increasingly ignorant and preoccupied audience is thus:

1. Get your facts right by doing your own research.

2. Before you accuse anyone of anything, see 1.

Some people have still to piss where I shat already.
