Just been looking up the MoT history.  It's needed very little up to the last time it was tested, 2012.  I also looked up the engine size, which comes up as 1979cc.  Carlton/Cavalier/Ascona/Manta engine, IIRC?

 

It isn't going to happen though, there's a reserve on it which almost certainly means he thinks it's worth an arm and a leg, and a lung, an eye and a kidney too.  I can't even afford a toe.

That's a bargain that, no reserve so potential £100 job if someone's quick. Too far from here to be worth my while, sadly.

No bids, so he's relisted it for another week.  By which time it will almost be pay day.  Hmmm.  It would make a rather nice shed for storing bikes and other tat whilst I get the Transit sorted.

 

Although it's still a bloody long way to drive a DW8-powered Pilot with no MOT.

That is lovely.  Bit more expensive though, not as secure and it's a 3.5-tonner so half a dozen pushbikes in the back would probably put it overweight.
