I would never have guessed... I wonder what sitting on grass has done for it's corroded front crossbeam, brake hose ferrules and both sides of the previously repaired floor at the front (where these all go). Two MOT fails in a row a couple of thousand miles ago and the fact that it's hardly been used since 2014 don't bode well either. The scrap man awaits.

November MoT, 250 quid, worth a punt.

No mention in that A30 listing but that is a rare early AS3 version......Wing mounted filler cap, smaller grille with Austin wing above and round speedo.    

 

Lovely.

It also appears to retain its original trafficators - most A30's had flashers put on later - the dash is quite different from the later version ( which was designed by David Bache). Doesnt seem to be rusty in the common places, wing bottoms etc. Nice colour too - guess it's restored. Registration number doesn't look original. Yes a very nice little car. These Austins were nice - but led down by hydro-mechanical brakes - rears were mechanical - which made them a bit feeble in stopping power.
