Let's be honest, we're all lickers of French cars here, so we can all lust over this...

 

Citroen are having a clear out of there vaults for whatever reason, having a public auction in the process with alot of concept and pre-production and other..things, on sale with cars and other Citroen tat. Most have silly low mileage and low asking prices.

Many years ago ( probably 20) I sat in a Citroen cx converted one of those. It was horrible!

Interesting reference pics from that ad. I have a 2001 206 GLX with the same alloys, All 4 alloys are the same, so on one side of the car the design lines appear to flow in the wrong direction. Our car has had them from new and, although it didn't bother me, I always wondered if 2 of the wheels were wrongly fitted from new. Maybe not then.

 

Holy shit, have I just broken the Autoshite Boring-ometer? Must have bounced off the scale there and damaged the needle.

You may be surprised! I once knew a geezer who bought a Lambo kit car that was slightly further on but just as awful and he paid about £10k for it! The hen he sold it on and got his money back!!

I like the Berlingo Reporters Edition best. My French isn't that great but I noticed the reference to Franco Sbarro and XM V6 and thought it was worth popping into Google Translate. Apparently a V6 Berlingo on 8" wide rims is the ideal vehicle for taking on safari.
