That one's been knocking around for ages. Blokey doesn't seem to appreciate most of these go for around 400-500 at the moment

 

I sold mine for £400 - similar miles but slightly worse condition.

 

It's a bit of an oddity amongst R8s, it's an SLI by badge and registration, but I've never seen a prefacelift SLi before, they're ususally badged GSI.

 

Then again I saw a prefacelift 200 in what appeared to be Nightfire the other week so I suppose anything is possible.

It does tick all the boxes, bar one:

 

 

Has a small block ford motor.

 

Not sure what the going rate for a Stovebolt is, but my guess is it'll leave little change out of another two bags

until the dust has settled. So the elephant is: How much can I get for an SBF?

I only ever recall seeing HLs and HLSs in applejack. Did they limit colours to models?

All the basic ones seem to primula yellow like the City my aunt had new in 1982.

Black vinyl seats and no reversing light bulbs.

I actually don't metro enough to be able to answer that.  TBH I'd probably take anything in Applejack - it's such a perfect colour for the car/era.  

 

I'm hoping that the photos on the eBay advert for the yella one are 'pre detailing'.  Otherwise, they didn't even spend £5 on a Kosovan Car Wash.
