I guess so but the Subaru never came with the DOHC engine. I bet that is a flippin GREAT car when its up and running, love how shitty it looks as well!

Look at this, it's a car.  This one is shiny black with big alloys, but imagine it in pale metallic blue or silver, you've already forgotten what it looks like

What makes it worthy of note is the fact it's got 260bhp, 4WD and does 0-60 in about 6.5 seconds.  Bonkers, but I love the fact it's so understated.

Don't see these for sale often, so here's one for £300 with a year's MoT

God knows how it got an MoT - thing is held together with rust it seems...

Every now and then I get a daft idea in my head about taking out a bank loan and buying myself one of these - I fugging love them.  Not sure I'd want to spend six bags on one that needs recomissioning mind.  Edit: I'd probably go for a Mk3 anyway cos more powah.  Did the Mk1 still have a beam axle on the front or did I dream that?

 

Still, it's better value than this.

Twenty four grand for a "rolling resto" example of the least desirable Mk2 variant.  It's not 1989 any more chief.

I saw that too and thought that it was a bit odd that it was AWD but badged as a Suzuki. I can only assume it has something to do with it being registered in it's home country.
