Damn that is fit.  My Turbo 1 was one of the best motorway cars I've ever owned.  Didn't pay anything close to six bags for it mind...

Loved all my CXs ... 2500D,2400 c-matic Safari an Athena and a 22 trs Croisette ...

Went to see the Turbo 2 that's on eBay today...

Though the bodywork wasn't bad, a DVLA vehicle check reveals the tax was last due in 1993 which says it all really... The guy owns a motor factors but couldn't get it started apparently because it needed an in tank fuel pump!

Said it was solid underneath,so I asked him how he could see underneath when the car was on its arse ... He said his brother put his camera phone under it and took some photos ....

Verdict ... A good spares car (body panels) but a CX that's been off the road for 24 years.... It would take a brilliantly brave masochist to take it on ...

Then again ... What do I know.
