A mega early mark 1 Clio in an nice colour, not seen one that colour before, or not that I can recall.

One previous owner, 65,000 miles, no MOT and £150 in Market Harborough

However, he is going to send it to scrap tomorrow  :-(

From the two pictures it looks clean and the MOT history doesn't look bad apart from some welding 7 years ago.

Seems a shame to see it scrapped as Clio's this early are getting very rare and I am sure will become more interesting in the next few years. If I had the space and money I would have it.

I enquired about this a couple of months ago when it was first linked on here; these are the pictures I got of the other side.  I didn't pursue it further as I know if I tried to get those dents out it would all go a bit Father Ted.

Apart from the actual examples Nicole has sat in, boggo Clits remain pretty much worthless. I passed my test in a nearly new K plate Clit derv; I much preferred driving my rotten-as-a-pear-and-with-shagged-engine mk1 Golf, given the option.

The 1969 Motor Show Car

However, what you get in reality is something like this (unable to really tell):

s-l1600.jpg

The first picture, is when the car was new.
Picture 4, is more or less now.

How about interrupting wanking for a minute and taking a photo of what is actually for sale?

What an ocean going pillock.

There are loads of these still on the road in France (and even more sitting in fields). If its had a new engine it sounds like it may have had a hard life. Its a lot more than buying one out there, and not as much fun. I have one...it was €500 drive away. Rusty thought.
