I’d SMASH one of those Lotus Excels, although I’ll need to hurry up or I won’t be able to afford one, the Elite has already moved outside of my FISCAL SHITE ORBIT.

I had mine for a massive 10 weeks, before stuffing it into the front of a Vauxhall Frontera on a country road in North Wales. Managed to take it down to Fontainebleau during that time though, and it impressed les chaussettes off one very old French woman ("Oh! Comme c'est belle, cette voiture!") somewhere en route. It wasn't a bad old shed to be fair.

Amidst all the talk of XJ40s an' ting, here's another Coventry bruiser: a 3.2 with fresh MOT and 'a few battle scars', £550. Clicky the picky (Faecesbook) or contact the guys who are fixing up my S3 if interested - I figure it must be a reasonable prospect or they wouldn't touch it.

The car is in not in perfect condition

No, it's fantastically shite! Don't change a bloody thing apart from mounting a wood slatted roof rack with elk antlers up front.

Oh, and don't forget to frisbee the remaining hubcaps into your neighbor's garden.

PHWOOOOAAAR! A painful £1500 and it's a shame to think it will be worth nothing once some spoilt teenager gets their hands on it.

I saw that last night, apart from a small bit of grot on the rear arches it looks good, I really wanted one when I was 19 and nearly bought the 1.4 version once of a car dealer i knew.

My sister had one and it was alright (Typical Mk3 Fiesta wafer feel to it though)... Was nimble but long gearing on the 1.6 meant it was a bit too long legged for its size.
