I quite like the trims, it's how I remember a lot of 70's cars in the 90's . Owners trying to make their cars look modern, I particularly like a Cortina with Sierra dustbin lid trims , look awful but somehow right, especially if it's been de-chromed* too.

 

I must admit to fitting a set of 14" Granada 2.0i Ghia trims to an ex-Police Mk2 Granada in about 1989- soz.

I'm relieved that 740 is a) a saloon; B) 2.0; and c) only a GL. I bloody love the orange interiors.

Bonus points for photos taken while parked in a disabled bay, by an overflowing bin at the bottom of the M32 flyover as well, really going for the cherished look.

I really like XG30s, purely for the weird styling you never really see outside East Asia.

That car used to belong to someone on the blue forum (does it still?) which is where it was lowered 'hit with the stick' and had Landy wheels put on.
