If we all have to trawl through 2 weeks of this thread before posting anything then it will die pretty quickly!

Brown Aggro on BGT rimz is worth posting up every other day if only to point out how crap the wheels look

Posted

tentatively posting just in case and all that :D

Land Rover Discovery 1 1989 3 door 200Tdi

should be on my bid list but no money and too many projects

registered in the first 3 months of production might make it worth something in 20 years time etc

2007 fail sheet reads like Tolstoy

Nice pictures and good advert but it's a shame they didn't mention they tried to MOT it in September last year and it failed on rot - although the yellow chalk rather gives that away.  Doesn't look beyond redemption.

Now relisted as an auction, 99p start

Not only this the greatest thing I've seen today, It's also the biggest rip off too, what's the betting they gave Charged the old boy £500 Â£100 to tow for it away?

Early Clio in dollywobbler land. Notable for being a 1.8 RT on nice alloys (best wheels for a Mk1 Clio IMO).

Oh, and leather..

Failed MoT on some minor stuff.

I agree with Bol, that looks great. I've got a Mk1 Clio light stalk knocking around here somewhere, and the play in the steering is likely to be this:

...a very common fault, and easily fixed with a sparkle stick, apparently. I'd buy it myself if I had a way to tow it. Anyone local got some storage space and an A-Frame?

Edit: is 225 miles too far to drive for a pre-booked MOT, I wonder...

This is a Consul Conundrum for me

I've always wanted one of these, and this is only the second one I've seen here. But  it would be deeply irrational to buy it. And it looks like it has one of those plastic front wings....I bet its a wreck really. Isn't it

And its on an island as well

As I always say...

It is the job of the police to enforce the law as it stands, not to interpret it however they so wish.

You'll be fine.

Very odd looking thing, bonnet badge and wierd front lights suggests South African, and something tells me this may be an ID rather than a DS - not going to put money on that though.

Did the IDs ever get the semi-auto 'box though?

Ooh, a diesel Mk3 Escort for only 200 quid.  Looks reasonably tidy too.
