^ I'll chip in to a fund if someone else wants to organise it.

Meanwhile - when did you last see one of these of this vintage, that wasn't irredeemably shagged out?

I have liked and then unliked that chopped Minor a couple of times. I like that it exists and I like that it is a really good vile colour but I don't like that it looks more wob than weld. Not sharp enough somehow. 5/10

a daft lad i work with has spent £20000 turning a horrid VW van thing into a really, really grim camper.

for £8k he could have had this. with the correct* engine (a V8) and proper fuel (petrol)

Cheap if slightly dented Grande Punto in the spares section.  I can't imagine these being a ball of fire with the 1242cc 8 valve.

We had one for 2 years and it was fucking woeful. My Mrs liked it though as it looked nice and she doesn't really drive faster than 45mph.

In other news Mk1 Astra

It even has a tasty number plate.

At one time we had BST 1W which was on a silver 90s Fester auto when we got it. My wife had a part time job at the time doing breakfasts in a local hotel.

Bacon sausage tomato and one waffle in notepad speak.

Fucks sake, I just read this back again, it's like something out of the Viz letter pages. Except it was real.

"is perfect for making into a racing mower.the old guy who had it was 80+years and his son in law said it had to go cause he kept falling off it. there are new drive belts with it I have not had the time to fit them a guy wanted to buy it left a deposit and never come back months ago.It is a collectors item.hence the starting price."

Meanwhile the (presumably) LEZ compliant 'Wrigley Union Motorised Vintage Truck' looks a useful tool with its two speeds, 10mph top speed and Morris Minor brakes. Why look like a dipshit commuting on a lawnmower when you can ride in style on a Wrigley?

Both on ebay, no link, you don't really want them.
