Weren't PRV V6s still in the spontaneous grenading phase at the time? Needless to say, I'd love it.

Yes I think so - I didn't want to mention that in case I got told off by some angry Tagora/Renault 30 etc lovers with torches and pitchforks.  To be fair, in age where V6 in the UK meant 2.5 and 3 litre Grannies and Crapies with their low-tech iron blocks, they were exotic what with needing proper antifreeze and an occasional oil change so may not have actually been that bad.

I've never had much time for these, but now that they are really cheap, very common and sneered at by everyone they have a certain appeal.

Especially in 1.8 K-series, cloth and 2-WD form, would suit my driving needs (rather than fancies) very well.

OK, this one is no-wheel drive, but it is only £180 with new tyres and some test left.

The vehicle has lost drive( NO DRIVE DUE TO POSSIBLE GEARBOX OR IRD FAULT)

It's already in the list man. He's got it on Gumtree too, wants 600 which isn't too ridiculous

yes the front footwells can and do fizz away to nothing on the XK8 (sadly).

however, the ad does say that the floors on that one are in good order.

plus, the repair sections for the front footwells are £70 odd each, its just the fitting that will cost.

same on the rear wheel arches the panels are £90 to buy........

Sounds like someone has done far too much research not to buy it.
