I wonder how many of the 39 bidders realise that the "The last few pictures of the vehicle in the listing, are of the condition of the Mercedes before it was parked up."

That's a naughty seller to do the tiny print at the end. I suspect it's going to be relisted due to time wasters.

 

 

If at first you don't succeed, keep fixing it until it's dead.

I like that Merc beavertail - easy collection, too.  Drive chod to Manchester, winch onto back, drive home.

 

Edit - reminds me of the time I was at the scrappies and a bit of chod rolled up, towing another one on a manky old bit of rope.  The guy came out and said "which one are you scrapping?"

The headlining was hanging down when I bought it, so I replaced it with a very tasteful brown check, which looks amazing and totally in keeping with the period. I'm sure Mr Honda would approve of this modification.

* once those shat rimz / comedy tyres and stoopid spots have been removed replaced with Bosch Rallye or Cibie 10de.

Car is on the Isle of Man, if winning bid is over £750 I will deliver the car the either Heysham/Liverpool. Belfast/Dublin also available mid-late December. Car will need to be re-registered in the UK/IE, tested and taxed as IoM is separate system. I can arrange further transport at the winning bidders expense and pre-payment. Logbook is present.

Assuming that it's nailed together properly it should be a hoot, my old xr2 never felt slow to my younger self.

 

Pretty big assumption mind.
