I've been looking at early Porsche Cayennes just because they're so disgusting I find them appealing .They're now pretty cheap given their original asking.

3500 bins

I told you not to press that button

I've been looking at them for a couple of years for the same reason, they are so ugly and OTT that I want one, my plumbs are however not big enough to take the leap..

I'd like to visit the Porsche parts counter so I could use the toilets. I bet their hand wash smells nice, which should make up a bit for the £17 they'd charge for an M8 bolt.

My local Porsche dealer isn't that posh really and the prices were pretty good less than 17 quid for replacement flywheel bolts. They also gave me 10% discount which beats the shitty 2% that VW'S TPS give if you don't spend much with them. Don't think I would risk a Cayenne though the Boxster is scary enough

5 minutes Googling suggests that the Transfer servo has likely gone duff.

Part seems to be a couple of hundred quid, but much fannying about with the OBD and HVAC or HAL9000 or whatever Porsche use.

Or they didn't RTFM and stick it into netural and then try?

Or if switch so rarely used, could be dirty contacts and need a good few activations.

Or they locked the centre diff on the road, winding up the transmission so it can't unlock.

Jack up a wheel, relax the drivetrain and all will be well.

Maybe.

So let me get this straight, Porsche's feeble attempt at building a SUV does not have permanent four wheel drive and no front/back differential?

It's in fact a DKW Munga on steroids?

I do like this Danger, serious risk of injury or death when using our product thingy, though.

Rolls Royce dealers have very nice toilets though.

And no, I did NOT crop that photo!

The car  is in excellent condition both inside and out.

Uh, okay...

some surface rust exists on the wing tops and bonnet

So it is not in excellent condition both inside and out.

The cylinder head has for whatever reason been removed

So not only is it not in excellent condition both inside and out, but furthermore it's fucked!

This looks like it could be made into some delightfully lethal shite.

Thought to have been built by Onslow Bartlett

Air was pushed down the chassis tube and ducted to the engine
Tube is rusted through at one point

That does sound most intriguing.

Norton ES2 Engine pictured

Does , .NOT..  come with it

What?

Then call J. Davidson, ffs!

Just been through the French Controle Technique (MOT equivalent in the UK) on the 30/09/2016, available up to 30/09/2017. You can drive UK roads with it.

You can indeed. You just mustn't, that's all.

Someone asked me to take a look at a misfiring Peugeot 306. When I asked what year the car was, she said "He was born in 2002". Scary woman.
