The loader arms on that little grey Fergie are something special, they are a bit HR Giger / Alien. Anyone know amything about the loader? is it Ferguson or third party?

My extensive* research suggests that they are Ferguson, known as the 'banana loader'.   Very useful-looking and capable of carrying terrifyingly heavy-looking loads (well, ones where I wouldn't want to be sat too near ancient hydraulic components).

 

Whilst looking at crawler tractors earlier today, I discovered that some of them were made by companies that fitted tracks to normal tractors that they bought in - which struck me as a pretty cool bolt on!
