I saw one of these Proton Satria GTis today with its Handling By Lotus badges.

Here's one from a great ebay seller who won't let you see the car before bidding :?

BX GTI 4x4!!! Thats a rare old thing. The lad helpfully doesnt say how much he wants for it, however this:

offers reflecting the cars rarity and spares value alone are invited for the car

Sounds suitably off-putting

Yeah, kind of like asking people to rate from 1 - 10 the bidder's inclination to providing the seller with a hand-job upon completion of the deal.

*Smiling Mike Brewer's insider tip:nly those who answer 7 and upwards will be entertained.

Those big flappy mirrors look a bit unnecessary. What are those Fiat 1.7 dizzle lumps like?

They're not that bad, I had one in an old Uno I used for delivery in Stoke. I've a feeling it's teh same engine you could get in the Ibiza and Malaga.

They're flat when cold, like any diesel, but quite grunty when warm.

No, those 1.3s are the old mini/Metro 1275 push-rod engine (fitted back to front, that's why they are only engine-raped by clueless fools).

Cavalier GL - not the highest spec car,but I always thought they were a very generous model, and a very nice motor.Should be quite lively, yet still sensible running costs.Always had a soft spot for the CD spec Cavaliers in Haze Blue

Thought this was a REAL bargain

In conclusion this is a great car which has been well looked after by myself and the previous owner, both of us Escort mk 4 enthusiasts.

Terms and conditions: I am asking £1495 cash only for the car which I believe to be a fair and reasonable price considering what some people are asking for these cars now. It has been priced to sell and to pass on, maybe to another enthusiast, to get enjoyment out of it.

wot a tosser

It's ok, he's reduced the Escort to a more realistic £695. But there is a small problem:
