We in Liverpool refer to that colour as spray tan. The woolybacks from Wigan would refer to it as Scally Tan

Love these, this doesn't look unreasonable either price wise.Mind you it's got some holes in it!

My wife and I were given one of these just before we were married. I serviced it in the middle of a heat wave and nearly fainted inside the car, due to the heat, and having to remove the rear seat back and 20 bolts to remove the access hatch to the spark plugs. It was scrapped about 5 months later. I regret.

I suspect they were being a bit harsh on that poor old citroen. Since when has the n/s mirror been an mot requirement on a car that age. I suspect a proper mot done by a garage that have a clue about classics will give a much more realistic fail.

I wondered about that, but maybe it doesn't have an (internal) rear view mirror, in which case (I think) you need an external nearside one? And vice versa. Or something like that. Agree though, it does (all) look a bit harsh. And, apologies for all the (frankly unnecessary) parentheses.

Proper five cylinder power here - worth a quick weld?

Looks like the owner is a Dapper Dan man:

Also, I can't imagine it being much fun to drive, what with having to brace oneself somehow during each and every load change.

A barn find... From the looks of it the 'barn' was on a modern housing estate.  Now that is rare, you don't get many barns on new housing estates...

There is some seriously weird perspective going on there...

I fear that this may be the plot of some horror film... a Shiter goes to North Yorkshire to pick up a £100 Pug 405 with MOT til September, from a dilapidated looking caravan only to be greeted by some kind of axe wielding maniac... I'm scared already!

Australians would be foaming at the mouth....

That'll be the result of stress brought on by living in a country where literally everything wants to kill you.

Why would insurance be expensive for the slowest version of a very conservative car of negligable value?

But at £400 you've gotta go and have a look, seeing as it's local. I am not a 75 fancier but that does look cracking value if you can live with that interior. (I can't. Except for the seats; they look nice.)

I don't know that much about Imperials - but is this a 1963 with a 1962 boot lid? Nicely excessive, either way. A proper American car from the good old days.
