You have to love it when they don't even include the battery. Still, 99p no reserve so could be a bargain if you're local.

2litre 8v auto, bet that's sprightly!!! This seems a real bargain and the MOT history checks out as well.

Shame it's in that there Scotland.

Yes I do. I looked at these a year or two ago. The metal frames inside the glassfibre rusts and expands cracking the plastic, this has to be cut out and repaired. Shame, cos I'd love one :(

That's right I read something about that. I bet it's hard to tell too until the engine falls out.

Watch out for doors that have dropped. I had one a few years ago that if you grabbed the front door you could see the sill flex. The heap was owned by an owners club member and had been described as a good car by other members. When I got it home I found silicon sealent made to look like weld on the chassis and this door problem. I sold it to some guys from Belgium as a spares car, I couldn't sell it as a going concern when I found out how bad it was.

slightly frilly allegro in a very funky orange colour.

$_57.JPG

crusty wings though would be a deal breaker for myself though.

$_57.JPG

still if it was cheap enough.....

$_57.JPG

loads of history and low miles odd how the other side looks unmarked....

$_57.JPG

have i mentioned before that i'm really fond of the allegro?

827 Manuel, it's not just Lord Mo that should get excited about this. These were a properly fast car in their day, I'd go so far as to say the only full-size Rovers that were faster were the Twin Plenum Vitesse and the ZT260.
