Where do I sign. The next time I see this I expect someone on here to be photographing it at a Petrol Station.

That Espace looks like a bit of a bargain to me and mk1s are getting scarce ... I wish I had the space.

If anyone does buy the Espace, I can supply them with a handbook

also, if that Pony still had the camper pod it could be just what I need* for my retirement. I'm almost ashamed to admit I'm currently looking at shitroen romahomes. Although with my past track record I shall probably end up with a 1940s caravan to shake to bits behind the Land Rover

The pictogram of a caravan is a bit optimistic as a towing light.

Looks a lovely little car mind. A manual choke is something that most of my generation has never had to operate in their driving career...

We had an '82 316 getting valeted before heading to its new home. The lad came and asked for the keys. I gave him them. Five minutes later, he came back,

"I think there's something wrong with it. It turns over, but it won't catch."

"It was fine yesterday. Did you pull the choke out?"

"What's the choke?"

I'm adjusting the ignition timing on a customer's 628 CSI on L-Jet the other morning when fully qualified, time served mechanic, Darren (26) arrives.

"Morning."

"Morning Darren."

"What you doing?"

"Setting the timing on this. The owner has been buggering about with it and it's a wee bit out and it's not idling properly."

"Whassat?"

"A timing light."

"How does that work, then?"

"Haven't you used one?"

"I've seen one. Some of the old guys used to have them in their boxes, but I've never actually seen one being used."

I would imagine the induction noise is louder than the exhaust from the drivers seat... or from anywhere.

"The photos don't show the full extent of the bodywork". [because I was careful to take them in such a way that they didn't.]

You've seen pics of my cx, right?

Limited cut and shut edition?

Looks like it's been stored underneath Sealand for the last decade

I have. And there's a world of difference between "honestly tatty" and "totally fucked, but concealed by tons of filler and the security of a drive by MoT"

Not shite, but not a bargain either....not that i'm going to buy it, but didn't the M5's of this era come without all the plastic bodykit an shit, and packaged as a bit of a Q car? This one in "white room motors" appears to be casrrying the M535i kit...http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FOR-SALE-BMW-E28-M5-Right-Hand-Drive-1986-/121562755905?hash=item1c4db47341:g:nZgAAOSwJkJWiknD oh, and its £29995...

You could do it either way, the non body kitted cars looked far better IMO
