Good spot, although there are several around the 2 grand mark on AT. Aren't they based on a Saab 9-3?

Also, it's been a lifelong dream to see someone getting out of one of those "Ferraris" and walk up to them to say how much I like their MR2

No, it's the BLS that's a Saab 9-3 complete with 1.9 Vectra Diesels in most cases. The CTS is 5 Series size and RWD, in fact with the 3.6 it's supposed to be quite good, I think it's downfall in the UK was that it wasn't as good as Ze Germans and not as YeeHa! Yankee different as a Chrysler 300, consequently nobody bought one .

I've considered one before but then bought a 300 or a Merc, Nothing if not predictable, me.

What's going on with those P6 wheels and front number plate?

that p6 has p5 wheels rather than similar hubcaps.

Yeah as said above the wheels are P5 rostyles which are 15 inch so quite a popular swap as its much easier and cheaper to get tyres due to the P6 being 185/80/14.

The numberplate and bumper is of a Nada car which was basically the American spec and quite a few have been shipped back here as they were higher spec than we got here.  :-) Looks to have front and rear Nada bumpers as they wrap around the car much more than the British ones.

Jag straight six motor, mounted backwards. Epicyclic wheel stations too, plus it will fit in my garage. Verdict - a bit shit

early B60 petrol engine, so garuntee no6 plug never changed and an engine bay fire every 250 miles. Verdict - buy the K60 diesel model

75% likely that I have driven this one, given the low number produced & in service with the Army. Verdict - One careful owner

Have these got the front wheel drive North Star setup...

Yes. Same platform as Seville, but 2.8 inches longer wheelbase.

Wheels are P5B 15" ROstyles and not the factory 14" option

Check out the rear window on that Jap barge. I'm assuming it's a pillar-less rear window opening solution rather than just having fallen from the runner?
