“Car complete and in need of total restoration. Bonnet damaged. Hinges broken. Holes in sills. Laquer flaking on bodywork. Had car started and running for short time - no smoke from engine. Brakes corroded but freed off. Cable for auto gear shift broken but can manually move leaver and car seems to engage gear. Haven't driven. Interior in poor condition.

 

I suppose EBay would remove a listing which just said "fucked", wouldn't it...?

The thing about it that frightens me is size of the wiring loom peeping out behind the glove box!

Not understanding this whole 'make my old VW look shitter than the next old VW' thing. I'm waiting for one to turn up with cheese graters for seats and holes in the wings covered with Tesco bags held on with parcel tape.

I see a Baynes across the road, a Fife baker. I think the real reason he does not want to put is details online is he ran over two old dears wearing matching scarfs away to buy two scones.
