This is on that there new fangled 'internet car boot sale' called Shpock. I signed up to see how shit it was, the first car I clicked on had five replies: The oldest one said 'sold' the other four were asking what the seller's best price was. I think we can see how that website is heading, can't we? Meanwhile, have a shit Hyundai at an expensive price...

Not shite but I was interested to see a 1930 BMW on Ebay, I didn't know they made cars then. I assume it's an Austin made under licence. One (!)  previous keeper, it's good to see old BMWs had K+N filters then too although it's not the 750 BMW I had in mind.

The same seller also has a completely average looking diesel Carina E with only* 79,700 miles for a mere £1250. On the plus side it does have 4 electric windows, 3 of which are functional.

FUTURE CLASSIC

Serious question: am I being unfair in thinking this guy is a complete fucking chancer?

That Cav 4x4 appears to have a very bad case of coolant/oil mayonnaise :)

Is Purple pain when you sit on the toilet and trap your knob between the seat and the pan? If it is then it's a strange thing to inspire a hot rod, which I believe is named after the inventor of hot rodding getting deep heat in an area you he didn't want it.

Anyway, main problem with this car. NOT ENOUGH CARBS.

I'm sure this was up for 3999 now it's 2999 bins with best offer, which doesn't seem horribly priced for an S1. A manual box too so gr8 for drifting although I hear the 2.8 isn't all that great.

JUST HAD A SHORT DRIVE OVER THE PENNINES    SWEET AS A DOVE..

that daimler S1 seems to be seriously cheap, i wonder what is really wrong with it? (other than lots of rust)

Buy both, mix and match and then roffle the remainder?

The white one has Suzuki Swift seats for some reason.

This is really cheap for a 530d with 11 months mot I wonder what's wrong with it?  I think this will have the slightly less powerful but pretty much bomb proof version of this motor.

A colleague just got rid of one at ten years / 85,000. £2k as p.ex, because of rattling DMF. Looked perfect to me and the rattle disappeared when up to speed.

I look after 2 530d's for close family, a saloon with 192k and an estate with 240k. Both have history and original DMF's though the clutch is numb on the saloon, clutch and box replaced on the estate. Neither use any oil and the estate goes like a rocket though it does smoke one as well on boost. In 184 bhp form at least it's a fine engine, both return a genuine 40mpg on general running about, dash lie-o-meter says a little more.
