The Rolls Royce brand is a funny old thing, while they keep pushing for "the best car in the world" tag and charge accordingly there's no doubt that some of their customers have absolutely no taste and their core values are mostly "expensive" and "naff".

 

Like all new cars they depreciate steeply so your half a million pound investment is cut in half in a few short years.

 

But there is a way to beat all of that - no depreciation, no owners of something similar that look like twats and unlike most modern Rolls cars this genuinely has a sense of occasion when you arrive somewhere.  I'd love to turn up at the Savoy with this, although having to do a 9 point turn to get it close to the entrance would take the sheen off things a little.

 

And it's only £200,000

I did think about an Aronde but I have had one before and they are pretty crap. That one is a bit pricey as well, I have nearly got the 204 diesel finished so that can become the new service van.

I've a feeling he won't get his asking price for that beetle.

The e34 feels like a good one to me if they've gone to the effort of taking to BMW to service it I doubt it's wanted for much.

The E34 TDS were sold with metric rims and in the pic it looks like they may still be on. Budget for a set of imperial wheels and tyres if they have survived, as far as I know new tyres not available. Only tyres available 6 years ago were Dunlop SP Sport which where hard enough to last 233k miles though.
