Well, there is the underlying problem that I for one actually quite like it. I know, I'm weird, but given the chance to chose between a real TT and this, I'd opt for the latter.

Oh yeah, when you put it like that... still a bit weird though...

We are selling an unfinished kit car that was left by previous owner when we bought the house.

Even its owner ran away and abandoned it

I was expecting to see a T or M-series under the bonnet of the Monty but that looks like the ancient O-series - really, that was still powering brand new cars in 1994?

WOULD, nonetheless. I had an O-series Monty, rapid old thing it was.

Weren't the M,T and even Prima all based on the O- Series anyway ?

I had a 2.0 Gti estate company car that could keep up with Mk3 2.0i Cavaliers ( not SRi's)

When I made a meagre living selling shite I'd always buy 1.6's though , mainly because the S- Series was non-interference . Always a consideration when caning old heaps from auction.

This is a bit pointless and more than a whole one would cost, but it does actually look quite well made compared to some of them.

Remind me, next time I have a car that is broken, that I could do with a trailer

Brewer is a cunt.

But he's got a job, and owns his own home. He knows he's a cunt, and milking it for as long as he can get away with it.

Imagine drifting in this POS, with all your crockery going flying and piss splashing out of your chemical bog

Top gear shite storyline again ?

Speaking of long-dead-to-the-world motoring presenters... anyone remember Janet Trewin? No? Mike Brewer + 20 years. It's a shame he's a bit grating, I think the programme is great - even if the last few series have jumped the shark somewhat (click back a few pages to find out why...).

£800 quid looks like vfm for this. Certainly the cheapest one I've seen. No idea if they are any good like.

Fugg me Conrad, what HAVE you found there? Proof, if it were ever needed, that our hobby is chock full of supreme mentalists.

This is a full scale one off wicker Lanchester 1895 master piece made for the centenary of the first all-British 4-wheel motor car.

Remember that internet video from when the Institute for Highway Safety staged a head on collision between one of these and a 2009 plastic patio chair?
