The Renault 25 has been on ebay for the last couple of weeks, but listed under cars not classics so has gone unnoticed.

Lòoks super and I would like a phase 1, so made a cheeky offer of £1250 and its mine if I want it!

Should I?

I don't think you'd to get a RHD series 1 for any less than that these days. It looks ace - and it's a GTX.

You should allow an extra half hour for every journey in this. You'll spend at least 15 minutes before starting the engine and after switching off, just sitting there, drinking in the blueness of it all.

^^ That's just round the corner from me, must be the third time around for it with no takers.  Those wheels really don't suit it but it looks tidy - no-one really seems to want these though, especially in 216 form.  I like a Rover and I have fond memories of a 216SE my parents owned in the early 90s (even though at 9 years old it was rotten) but I can't get very excited about them for some reason.

 

If anyone does want to save it, more than willing to go and take a look, poke it around and help with delivery though.

Id eat an injected 1.6 model but all the others just look shite to me, nowt to get excited about and Alfasud-beating chronic structural rot to fix up every flipping year. Verdict: Ass

Hillman Imp is indeed a new dad, congratulations to him and his partner.  Let's hope that Imp Jnr made it home in the Jaggy - otherwise it'll be the Visa :-D
