The redness?

God that's shit - he goes on about how light it is, but that's due in no small part to the fact that it's got no engine.  'Great racing car'...with a 4 speed gearbox to fit a VW flat four.  Fuck yeah, Bathurst here we come.

Meanwhile, in the northern hemisphere:

How easy is it to get rid of the poncy 'privacy glass', for those of us that don't have ugly children to conceal?

either a hairdrier and a scraper to get the film off, failing that a brick

214 Convertible that needs a head gasket repair. £150!

Good project for somebody.

Let me think, who loves Rovers, is excellent at fixing head gaskets and has a trailer?

These are just starting to creep up in value to the point I'll be saying " I should have bought one of them 2 years ago, before they went stupid"

I can see me and Mrs N trundling out of the care home gates in a tatty 500SL with gaffer tape holding the roof together and everyone being disgusted by the petrol fumes from the weird old giffers and their internal combustion engined heap.

That is a thing of beauty, from the delaminating plywood, to the chip basket ventilator, it's almost worth driving to Scotland to collect it, although I suspect with all the Kingspan insulation and quality street wrappers in it, it might be a bit heavy for my Suzuki Alto to tow. At least I'd be nice and warm in it when waiting for someone to tow me up the steep hills. (Or is it all downhill from Scotland to Wales like it looks on a map?)

I recon those SL's are still cheap at around 3 grand. I bet they're usable as a daily too with doing your head in or not having enough room to carry that jumbo sized bag of turnips you need to bring bring home every month .

I really like that cube, but agree the later one is more of a looker, I still would though ... if I had more money and space.

There was a young chappie called Billy

Who's taste in old cars was quite silly

He gets stiff over novas

And wanks over astras.

He's got a Cavalier tattooed on his willy.
