I'm sure I said on here I'd buy one of these once they got to sub 600 quid. Oh dear it's like Paddy Ashdowns hat all over again.

I can't help thinking of these whenever I see one. The doors are so comically slow , it's just as well you can drive with the door open,if it was like my 5 series that won't go into drive if the doors not properly closed every journey would take an extra 10 minutes.

Now my Delta knowledge is pretty piss poor but I do not reckon they ever made a convertible and this my friend is a home brew of the poorest quality.

I found an S123 for a mate who wanted to do the Plymouth-Banjul run a few years back and it was a 200T with shot rear self-levelling.  The reason I remember this is it had the carb and that's what he wanted for roadside bush repair.   Same age plate on it too.  Finished the trip ok with ballast and flogged it to get flight back home.  So, umm.. yes.

Under Oldsmobile on Gumtree - scroll through 5 or 6 photos to get to:-

Mercedes-Benz 124, 300E, 2.6 Petrol. Car has got excelent condition insite and outside. Very low mileage 64 000 mil. It has got leather seats, electrical windows, mirrows. It is working perfect.

I think it is one of the hyper rare Selenes.

They are so elusive that even my knowledge about them is patchy to say the least, but I think initially there were three made for the 1983 Turin salon

by coachbuilders Baronti. They were then produced in several (very small) batches by the same company in Finland that built the Saab 900 convertibles

and I think the one on Ebay is one of them. So I wouldn't instantly dismiss the seller's claim, it could be one of ten made for the UK market, to be untrue.
