I read about those in classic cars a few years ago. I seem to remember that they were part of tony ben's British manufacturing is best export drive. They toured UK industry and showed films to management in the small cinema.

Seems like a lot of car for the money, nice early flat-fronted 9000 with a crusty sill.  An afternoon's work for someone with a welder in their garage?

I'll be controversial here though and say that I do prefer the looks of the later 9000s - he's got one of those on the same listing but it's been used as a parts donor.

That Sunny's just around the corner from me, I don't recall ever seeing it before although by the sound of it it rarely ventured outside the garage.

 

If anyone's particularly interested I'm happy to go and poke around it.

Engineless Piaggio Bee.  Do these just use a bog-standard PX200 engine & box, or are there differences?
