And how should it pass an emissions test if it doesn't get rung beforehand?

attn bernard b triggerstolf the 3rd.

This is the guy I bought my SD1 off and he was sound. He always seems to spend loads of ££ on his cars before getting shot of them.

Needs a bit of tidying but these things seem to be on the up so might be a decent buy. I'm sure Junkman will be able to spot if it's a plum/haunted just be staring into it's headlamps.

IIRC if you fit an older engine (and can prove it) then the emissions test will go by the year of the engine rather than the car. So a '68 engine in a '93 car will need to pass the '68 emissions, which is just a smoke test.

By only viewing the photo, I just knew that this would be in the North East (!)

Us lot on the coast up here call them lot out in West Durham 'hillbillies' - here's an example of why . . .

Dave. My mate Dave. He could make it pass. If only I knew where Dave was now. Last time I saw him he was wearing PJ's under his clothes (due to the fact that I phoned him at bedtime in a panic) and making my 850 run sweet. So sweet that the MOT man accused me of cheating when it came to the set up for emissions. (Dave worked in Engine Development at Longbridge, in the 1980's before joining Lucas aerospace as a quality manager, but had grass track raced an 850)
