Jesus wept, this is such a massive heap of shit. No legal registration, half the engine missing, and most of all it looks like a pile of random scrap metal that's been on fire recently. £800 opener as well!!! FUCK OFF!!!!!!!!!!!

As long as it's sympathetically stripped, so that the trim etc helps to save other more worthy cases, would it really be the end of the world if this ended up as a racer?

From day one when Coleman Milne butchered it and inflicted that hideous roof on it it's been abused, after a gentle few years in the funeral industry it then suffered the ignomy of a cheap white blow over and a few years of hearing the words ' Is that it?' Screeched by disappointed brides who were promised a limo, then no doubt spending a decade on various council house front gardens, surrounded by old sofas and dogshit.

Yes, a blaze of glory at the hands of a rigger booted ,oily reflective jacketed, Hiab owning Saint ,is much more favourable outcome than sitting in a yard waiting until ' That 302 comes up and I've saved up for some mdf and dralon ,or maybe a pickup for me trike' .post-17414-0-03007900-1423309256_thumb.jpg

Anyone would think I'm looking for a brown automatic ...

I do want a 480, and this doesn't look too bad. It's just a shame it's in Cornwall, it's easier to get to Inverness than Cornwall.

I think these are getting better looking with age, and i don't think a bit over 3 bags with full MOT, soft and hard tops is unreasonable.

I had an XJ-S V12 years ago and it was a lovely old thing.  Of course since I sold it the values have climbed steadily and now they're fetching a few grand for anything that moves.

Enter, stage left, its replacement.  Can it really be 2 grand for this nowadays?  I remember when they were launched!

Check out this stunner, £1k or best offer for this honey:

Last week it was up for £600 on ebay, then it sold, reappeared a few days later on Facebook for £1500 with the old chestnut "Original reg A56 MEG, independently valued at £1250" written under it.

It quickly went back to £995 ONO again though.

I always wondered what happened to these. The roads used to be full of 'em.

Nope. Conventional ZF four-speed.

Unfortunately, these tend to be worth more in bits.

Fortunately for me owning one, there are lots of folk breaking them!

This is the cheapest I've seen a "proper" Yank in a long while.  Shame (from my point of view, if not from my neighbours') that it's in Devon.
