It seems amazing to me that that Simca hasn't sold yet, it's been on ebay for months and months, is nobody actually interested? £1100 seems like a very fair price (assuming it isn't hiding loads of epic rot) for an individual, practical tax-free classic that will be guaranteed to be the only example at any event you take it to. I guess it just proves how narrow minded the majority of the old car buying public is.

No Billy, that one's not for me. Too rough, done that, several due etc etc etc. Ta though

I'd love this, Visa diesel 'Societe', which means its a van - no rear seats, lined out inside and rear door handles deleted. 500€, its only round the corner from MUTHA_BO**OX an' all. PLUS its got the mental Visa Mk1 dash, basically its a dream car for any shiter innit.

I purchased this lot with a veiw to making a drinks bar from it, I was going to make the James Bond revolving number plate box and fit some propane powered machine guns, the single front wheel I was going to cut this accross the middle along with the tyre, and fit one half on each side so it would look like it was coming out of the wall

Wow, that would have been amazingly classy!!! NOT

Fortunately you have not been arsed to do a fuggin thing with it, so any visitors you have will be spared the embarassment of watching you piss about giving them a demo of it and making them feel like they are trapped in a wanky ITV sitcom from the 80's.

Hmm. given that those Astons are anything from 80k upwards, I can't help wondering what happened to the rest of it? is it in some wine bar looking like its driven through the wall?

I would like to cover this in Cadbury's Crunchie chocolate mousse then lick it all off.

DELIGHTFUL

Reckon you might graze your tongue on the rear arches, mind. What is it with all these yummy Mk2 Cavaliers in Leicester? That beige 1300L a couple of pages back had me quite hot and bothered too.

I imagine for the sort of person who can afford to own one that tiny ding on the wing was enough to warrant chopping the entire front end off and having the whole thing replaced with shiny new metal by Rod Jolley or someone.

But seriously, it's off a DB6 (not a DB5 like the seller seems to think) which until VERY recently were only worth a tiny fraction of the 4/5's value.

I think this pretty much does it for me:

Fugging wars, theres must be something wrong with me because I think this is properly gorgeous.

The interior, that fuselage body, the fablon and most of all being propelled by a 429.

Lovely, and definitely worth $12k..

Im only 12grand short, and the little fact its at the otherside of the water. Bastard.

Nope, nothing wrong with you whatsoever, you've just proved you are a tasteful human being, much like I am. Sadly also broke, much like I am... :( That's gorgeous and I want it. Berry berry much.

Oh and Bol? That 304 coupe absolutely needs to be owned by one of us. You're nearest, you're nominated, off you go...

Edit: I've just looked at the listing for that station wagon. Oh shit.... if I even thought I could raise that kind of dough I'd be on Paypal right now. Mrs R would kill me.

I don't know about Jolley but the best thing to happen to that is for some big fat fucker to a Rod Hull and use it as a landing pad.

That Volvo is wickedly tempting, despite the (non-)colour...

What a f*cking turd. Any graphics on that are bad enough, but a half arsed ST replica job with some other shit thrown on it can only make it worse.

"Here for sale is my everyday classic car. Although it has served me very well in the 5 years I have owned it the time has come for me to buy a newer car to use everyday. The Acclaim is in very good condition, not pristine, drives very well and comes with MOT to Aug2012 and Tax till Oct 2012, an accumulation of bits and pieces and douments etc. Included is a DVD of a 1997 Top Gear programme that the car featured in. (Google topgear triumph acclaim to see video) Will probably SORN at end of May if not sold. "
