I imagine these make Avantimes seems simple and straight forward. I'd have thought nice ones of these would be going for more than 5 grand by now

GTA is a pretty simple car if you avoid the turbo models. Just the usual annoying Renault feebleness with door locks, window motors etc. And a unique rear tyre size.

 

Rust would be the killer now as the rusty bits are bonded into the plastic shell.

 

I have had one, and an Avantime: I like Avantimes but I am glad I no longer own one but I wish I still had the GTA: No electronics at all except for the alternator and ignition box, manual steering, no exploding cushions, no ABS. And the best driving position ever.

Just seein if anyone would be interested in this nissan serena deisel 8 seater 104k on clock. tax n test runs out at end of months needs a little welding done for next mot drives nice. just waitin for logbook to come back offers or swaps.

"A little welding" probably means the whole rear crossmember is about to fall off

Those alloys and tyres had better be designed to cope with the weight of the Van,as that's what will be on the v5 somewhere

The diesel 2.3 engine is dog slow but loves veg oil

I had the LDV badged version

Loved it.....

Why the hell didn't they stick a bloody blower on it when they made the sod, would have been oodles better.

 

Amazing turning circle i seem to recall.

I did see that and thought Alicante was a long way to go and look at it. Then I started thinking that's a novel form of rally prep, lowering it and putting a rear bench seat in the back, when the MSA would prefer such silly fripperies as a roll cage and fire extinguisher. Verdict: sheep in Camel clothing.

 

Probably goes well though and would be nice de-stickered and maybe with the suspension put back to stock, but CBA.
