As I suspected would happen, buyer only contacted me this evening with some bull about the car not starting so maybe it's best we cancel the transaction. Sold for less than he hoped obviously. I just said yeah ok whatever, can't be arsed following it up. Shame as I was looking forward to a bit of cheap 75 action!

 

Ah now, surely that's not the Autoshite way!

His lame excuse was the car won't start after taking it to his local car wash place, so water must have got into the electrics. WTF?? I could have strung him along a bit by saying 'no problem, I'll just bring my auto electrician mate to come and look at it' but I really can't be bothered dealing with mongs like that. I'm on a roll now though so am eyeing up R8 214s.

The batteries are flat and will need replacing and the motor requires new brushes.

 

Low mileage! Everything it needs to propel itself forward is fucked but at least you know the seatbelt won't be all slack.

Being sold by a Barrett in Sussex. I feel this needs an explanation.

 

It belongs to The Automobile and they're selling it to fund another purchase that is even betterer (but in the same vein). 

 

I had a sit in it after the MG6 'did a Buckley' and it cheered me up somewhat. I was not in a nice mood after the '6 crapped itself.
