It's not The Doctor but feel free to have a massive argument about the price or seller anyhow, perhaps ruining this thread in the process.

Here's one of those cars that are a bit rough but should be left to look exactly how they are

Looking at the bidding it was listed last Sunday so did he mean the next day or, as it's a ten dayer, this Monday coming. Either way the photo is for demonstration purposes of how it might look when built.Already five days into the listing and I've no idea what you get for your money.

'An extraordinary 1966 Volkswagen LandSenator Golf Mk1 1982 Talbot Acclaim 1.3 C 3 door. First registered in the name of the supplying dealer and acquired by its last owner, an army captain, when it was just 1 month old having covered just delivery mileage. Just 28,300,000 genuine miles from new with service history. Highly cherished and always garaged when not in use. Presented today in absolutely unfantastic original show condition.

Bodywork: effervescently effervesces in radiant radiance. Beautifully preserved in Tree Damage Green with optional tyres, which are/not original. A wonderful vehicle that is the actual one that I started my medical career with. I have been purveying fine purveyances since 19.58, about the last time I was mentioned on Autoshite'

Anyone fancy entering next year as team Doctor Sale of Goods act?

We get a 27 year old snotter from a profit obsessed onanist, drive flat out to the destination fully covered by our mandatory warranty on all things mechanical and reject the car on our return for a full refund as the ashtray had been used once in 1988 despite the seller insisting it had been owned by a non smoker.

Why do I have such a horn for this crummy old Datsun? :?

I hate those VW vans, and I hate boring done-by-numbers scene VWs, but that actually looks fuggin' class on those Empis. At the back especially it is sitting perfectly. Obvs the roofrack full of shite and the wanky 'euro' plates would be straight in the bin, but otherwise I'd happily potter about in that no worries.
