Corsaviour's wanking material sorted for tonight....

If that had been an auto  ...

Remember the Cadburys purple Corsa's  seemed to be everywhere when they were new but  dont see any of them anymore

They were the two colours I remember most when they came out. I can see it making quite decent coin to be honest, though if it does I may have to put a 'do you want to sell this car?' note under the wipers of a brilliant early Mk3 Astra I've spotted recently. It's the full on mingebag spec: white, three door and LS.

My mate's parents ordered a brand new 5dr Corsa LS back in about 1993 to replace their uber-povo spec Nova.  They were very conservative people and so were not best pleased when the 'blue' they had picked out of the brochure turned out to be bright purple.  I wonder how many of the purple ones were bought in a similar way!

That Transit is pure Pikey VIP,that must mean I have latent block paving tendencies, because I'd love to have a reason to roll on those banded bad boys.

This ex-police Moggie is very nice and not shite at all, but I really like the carefully arranged set of memorabilia you get:

Homemade light bar, three magazines (that's not this car on the cover), five modern parking tickets, a pretend fire extinguisher which is actually a money box, a road atlas and two toy police helmets one of which still has the price tag dangling from the strap.

NLA. He's probably pissed ebay off with his realistic* helmets. I don't ever recall being arrested or anything in 1969, but if I had I'd have been mightily surprised to have sat in the back and admired the 1980's Harry Moss speakers crudely bodged into the rear panels.

No MOT or Road Tax (but with little effort it can pass)

£500

Bollox mate, your car is fucked! Look at the state of the wings, look at the state of the paint work, look at the state of the rest of the body - fucked, fucked, fucked! I'd give you £200 for it for bits!

Did you get a job lot of that door paint? Bloody well looks like it!

That's just hideous - I love this comment from him "I'm forced to sell this Gem" Who by? The neighbours or the council?

Apparently the battery holds for a VERY long time. Yes that's right, they generally do. I would class a long time as 15 years, what's your definition?

Have 32 grand burning a hole in your pocket?

Want to drive around in an egg with wheels and pretend you are part of 70's cartoon "Ludwig"?

Irrepressible urge for better aerodynamics in reverse and a desire for incredibly long adverts?

Then step this way!!!

Just noticed... that  Sud Ti doesn't appear to have a Ti engine under the bonnet. Should have two twin chokes on it if it's a Ti, surely?

Posted

Only the Series 3 Ti & Green Cloverleaf had the twin carbs. Maybe some very late Series 2 as well. The rest had a single twin choke.

Edit. Some very late Series 2 cars with the plastic bumpers from the incoming Series 3 model had the twin carb engine. These were called the Tis. All the earlier Ti models had the single twin choke carb.

Never knew that!

Sils, wings, valances and underneath have some rotted areas (not sure of extent of rot).
