that mini is a seriously low grade effort

Just what I was thinking!!!! Mind you its probably as good as anyone could achieve if they limited themselves to stickers as a means of replicating a historic rallycar. 0.4/10

Roof  works perfect of which would come in handy with this weather we having at the moment.

Handy? It's kind of the whole point of buying the thing

I see it as a clean car outside but hey someone would disagree with me

This car has had a £3500 plus pink effect addition which is just right for this car.

All the bits you can't see are ruined.  Some of the bits you can see are ruined.  There is no tax, there is no test and bidding starts at £300.  Possible Bargains thread candidate, but I don't know enough about Dyanes to say so I'm putting it in here.

Small brown Richard the... no, wait, it's a Metro.  Been off the road since Feb '13 but has a tiny opening bid of £75 and no reserve.  Could be worth a punt if you like this sort of thing.

Confusingly, the vendor writes "with rising fuel costs I have decided to sell it as we do not use it enough anymore."

There's no tax, there's no MoT, there's only one wiper, the radio has vanished (like an old oak table) and it has a few niggles, but it's a Citroen ZX 1.9TD so WCPGW?

Proton, JRG, velour* interior.  Ticks all the boxes and with tax and test the £134 high bid seems like not a lot for a car that's only 11 years old.  Be quick though, it's got less than a day left before the auction is over.

Nissan Micra.  This is the before shot.  No reserve, it's on SORN and it's been off the road for a decade.  But it's a Nissan Micra, providing that dark dry garage has kept the moisture away chance are it won't need anything to get through an MoT.  Presently at £57.63 but it does have a week still to go.

Skoda Felicia estate in one of those brilliant colours Skoda used.  I really rate these, they're good fun to drive and very practically proportioned.  Not too bad looking either.  Comes with a starter motor/ignition/key niggle and 12 month's MoT but no mention of tax.  No reserve with just under a week to go and presently at £10.50.  Could do a lot worse.

I am drawn to this thing.

I love those 'S' wheel embellishers in the same way I want a 2.5 Pi largely for it's fake rostyles.

I want if for the later well stocked dash and that bonkers spare wheel on the boot.

Most of all I want it to max it for mile after mile on a drenched motorway one midnight smoking a cigar and listening to Bert Kamphert.

Uh-oh.

" ... make a very nice car ... or as a donor car for a kit car the engine and gearbox ... "

" ... the engine is strong and clean and is generating a lot of interest ... "

" ... Just for the those looking at it for the engine/gearbox the couple who have seen it commented how good it was and the fact it would be ideal for a kit car with the 5 speed box and final drive ratios ... "

Sierras - you don't see many about anymore. :(

I call seller bullshit on this.

Kit car knobs want pintos... The DOHC and CVH sierra units are largely ignored by them.

I looked at that ZX the other week and thought seriously about it. My gran (who lives just outside peterboghorror) would probably keep it on her drive for a bit, but I'd then have to do several 200 mile round trips to get the fucker working, mot'd and taxed. May as well buy another £3-400 t&t'd one locally.

If anyone here gets it please machine all the swirls out of its face!
