... the 626 has the same stud pattern as the Nissan 200SX...

SWMBO & I had a short break, at The Red House Premier Inn, Redbridge and whilst in the area I contacted a Nissan breaker + liberated 4x Alloys + visited a local tyre emporoum and secured 4x 16" 'Colway' remoulds (we're talking auto$hiter here) and had the lot fitted before returning to Newcastle  :D

MY kind of holiday break.... that!!

I've messaged that Fiat seller, that looks like just the sort of absolute rubbish that should fill my lock up for a few months, just getting rustier and rustier.

What are the chances of finding a rear light for it? Must be bloody slim, I'd have thought?

ebay.it is your friend.  I believe those are the same lights as the Innocenti Elba estate.

Nice looking little R5 Campus. I'm a little tempted to buy it to detail it, make the trim black again and sell it with better photos for a bit of profit.

The rally light pod may have given me a stiffy. Not insuring and fuelling a 2.0 GTi though.

These are still a fantastic looking car especially for a Jap. We had a 2.3 one a good few years ago always fancied a VTEC one.

What a shame if that lovely blue & white A60 ends up going round the track. It's a really nice example and belonged to an elderly lady in Knaphill, Surrey. She'd owned it from new, used it sparingly and had it nicely restored in (I think) the early nineties. Sadly she ran into the back of another car on her way into Woking one day. I spotted the car last year at the top her son's driveway (he'd just pulled it out from long-term dry storage). The whole family were about to move to the Isle of Wight - the son was adamant the car would be going with them and intended to pay for the necessary restoration work. I know this because I expressed my concern that the A60 would go walkabouts if left unattended on an open driveway. He seemed genuinely interested in the car and assured me it's future was secure (I asked him to let me know if he changed his mind and was open to offers).

So I'm not sure how or why it's ended up with the chap in Gatwick. One thing seems certain - even at £1,150 I can see the poor old thing being stripped and raced in time for that awful 'all-A60' meeting this summer. I really wish I had the spare cash to do something positive about this, but I don't and am struggling to find the time/money to get my own Cambridge (estate) back on the road! I might just give him a call tomorrow and find out more though...

Be just like me and live the BoatShite dream*

Currently £410 with 14hrs to go. Has a Ruston Engine which is probably worth 3k.

That Granada is fantastic and well within Alexg's £2500 Allegro replacement budget, even with travel costs involved. Am sure the missus would wholly approve of a trip to France to boot. There's always the guaranteed profit sale to some thick-necked individual with a penchant for shit wheels (or Dulux) at a later date.

This looks cheap at £350 opening gambit with a full MOT. The number plate seems familiar...
