cort16 Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 700 quid Peugeot 406 Coupe diesel. Are these made before or after the tipping point of Peugeot diesels going from good veg licking frenchies to fragile gaelic eml loving numpties? http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/peugeot-406-coupe-22-diesel52-reg-motd-and-taxed/1038960802#photo-content
Cavcraft Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Nice one Shaun, that'll sell very easily I reckon so hang on for the right offer mate. shaun1706 1
Conrad D. Conelrad Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 ONLY 71,000 MILES !!!!!! I don't know if a 71k MK5 Escort is really deserving of six exclamation points, but, hey, maybe it's really special if you've put it in the classic cars category. THE INTERIOR IS EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN AND TIDY Wrap it up, Meguiars, we're done here ON SORN FOR LAST 3 YEARS .... NEEDS A BATTERY .... IT WILL HAVE TO BE TAKEN AWAY ON A TRAILER DUE TO IT HAVING NO MOT, BUT AS THE CAR RUNS OK, YOU CAN DRIVE IT AWAY IF YOU WANT TO TAKE THE RISK ! Good advice, providing you live at the other end of this guy's driveway. This thing couldn't be more ANPR bait if it's registration number was ALLCOPPERSAREPIGS 420 BLAZEIT in an illegal font. IT WOULD BE A REAL PITY TO SCRAP IT, STILL IN TOO NICE CONDITION FOR THAT ! and PLEASE NO DREAMERS nacho man, Alexg and Bucketeer 3
pompei Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Looking at that Cambridge - do some of those Farinas have bigger fins than others?
Conrad D. Conelrad Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Yes, A55s have slightly larger fins than the later A60s.
Conrad D. Conelrad Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 ABANDONED RESTORATION PROJECT LOADS DONE This took over eight years. BIN £1,250.
SambaS Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Saying what? Actually it was quite a pertinent question, look at the windscreen then look at my Jimp

Cavcraft Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 NOT PAUL WELLER BARRY CHUCKLE 60 YR OLD WHO THINKS HE'S 18 FEATHER CUT ROD STEWART IS A PLASTIC SCOTTISH TWAT http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Jaguar-XJ6-/301018099744?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item461613b020 Does contain MILF (GILF?) and for a BIN of £550 it looks really good value for money.
phil_lihp Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 When I see hazy photos of the interior taken through (dirty) windows my inner cynic wonders if they actually own the car, surely it's worth 10 minutes to throw a bucket of water over it and open the door? Poor thing does look a bit downtrodden regardless, I reckon Trigger ought to work his magic on it!

vulgalour Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 I like that Rover. I nearly posted it earlier but I have this sneaking suspicion it was available earlier this year for £SILLY which put me off posting about it.

Stroller133 Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Anyone know what a Metro City might have to offer OMGMPG-wise?Assuming its a standard 998cc and in reasonable condition 45mpg should not be difficult ambling along country lanes. I think you would have to try hard to get any less than 40mpg.
Cavcraft Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 That BASTARD has got the ticky dash I need. What bastard and what dash? No offence me old china, but although I class myself as pretty competent drinker, I'm not sure if I could ever keep up with you!
Wilko220 Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 That actually looks a bit like William Woollard on the bonnet of the Jag
cort16 Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 This would be at the heart of my shite wedding car fleet. Well right behind a white 1989 XJ40 with the door bottoms wobbed up to the max. This garage is in a bit of Glasgow called Milngavie. If you don't come from Glasgow (like me) and say Miln - gavie the locals will looks at you, smirk then roll their eyes and go well actually it's Mul-guy. Oh aye, that's fucking obvious from the name, nice one. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201311119838887/ michael t and drum 2
cort16 Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 This MGF looks good for the money. It's a VVC one although I think saying 80,000 miles is low mileage for one of these is stretching the bounds of reality. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201311049660302
cort16 Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 This has got a bit of miles on it but looks pretty good for 800 quid. Normally this sort of money will only get you a ropey looking N reg boxy faced one of these with rusty wheel arches. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201310079152406

Volksy Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 I must say, one of those scared the living crap out of me. braking from the outside lane of the A500 to turn into the Audley sliproad....... The prop, as most have, had been removed. leading to a Turbo kiking in at 'exactly' the wrong point, and the rear axle.+diff, deciding that they still worked ended in a rather dramatic lockup. I didn't poo. just decided to use the 405 SRi instead.
Conrad D. Conelrad Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Today on "huh, that's weird": An A-Series powered Anglia. So now we know what an Anglia engine bay would look like if Ford and BMC had been involved in a shambolic merger in the mid 50s. morris_ital_lover and Banger Kenny 2
Conrad D. Conelrad Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Custom dashboard with original Barn doors shape cubbyhole. (see pictures) I'm assuming a large cuckoo springs out of there on the hour (which would be useful as Minis don't have clocks) Alexg, scruff, tooSavvy and 4 others 7
Cavcraft Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 I'm assuming a large vibrator springs out of there on the hour (which would be useful as Mini owners don't have cocks) EFA. michael t and Jim Bergerac 2
Mr_Bo11ox Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Christ that is dreadful, looks like something I might have made when I was 4
Cavcraft Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 And the award for best 'Most like just balancing the body of something that doesn't fit properly, onto the chassis of something else you had lying round' goes to.... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Morris-Minor-Traveller-Custom-Hotrod-Ratrod-Cosworth-/251379642768?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3a8764f190 'this may depend on how you wish to register the vehicle as it is 50% a 1996 Granada Cosworth, and 50% a 1960's Morris' but also 97% shit, so you'd have to fake an e-mail from Euclid and send it to the DVLA along with a letter from the Broadmoor Classic Car Club' dugong and Alexg 2
